We set a mark on the foreheads of them that sigh
Fill their hands with coals of fire
And cast their ashes into the sky
You said when you turn the corner
You will no longer see
You’ll be loved or you’ll be hated
For your words and for your dreams
But you knew the night would pass
The love we lived could never last
Reflections blurred by shadows past
Silhouettes will still roam free
Beauty for a day, or a day of eternity – Nausher
